CULLOMPTON ARTS HOUSE

Cullompton Arts House is a registered charity that promotes the arts in Cullompton and across the Culm Valley, supporting artists, artisans and performers, and facilitating events.

Cullompton Arts House (CAH) was established to promote, in the Culm Valley and nearby, art in all its forms. CAH has supported music, art, drama and photographic events since it was established in addition to holding two art exhibitions in most years since then. If you would like to be a part of CAH by organising, supporting, performing or exhibiting at any events then please keep in touch.

What is art? What do people perceive as art? Perhaps it is the expression of an inner being through any form of medium, whether it be through the use of paints, pens, pencils, materials or digital media. Static or moving; with form and without form: it is for the observer to judge.

Art in all of its forms has long been a necessary form of communication for the people of the world. From the earliest cave paintings to modern art in all its forms: two dimensional or three dimensional, kinetic or static; digital or analogue, permanent or temporary; it is the expression of the artist in the chosen medium.
